Welcome to the Defense Acquisition University Alumni Association Mid Atlantic Region (DAUAA MAR) website. As our chapter continues to grow so does our need to keep our members informed of the activities and events that are of interest to the acquisition community in our region. This website will serve as the source of information for upcoming symposiums, conferences, and Hot Topic Forums that are sponsored by the DAUAA MAR and other professional organizations. We have many events planned for this year so check the Calendar regularly to keep up to date on what's happening in our region.

Mission

The Defense Acquisition University Alumni Association (DAUAA) is a national, non-profit association that provides continuing professional growth within the defense acquisition community and promotes DAU's reputation as a world-class acquisition learning center.

Activities

• Annual DAU Symposium on current defense/military service systems acquisition policies, procedures, and issues.
• E-mail updates.
• Bi-monthly Association newsletters.
• Local Chapter Hot Topic Forums, seminars, and meetings.
• Professional relationships with other premier associations (PMI, RMSP, NDIA, AIA, NCMA).
• Receptions for DAU courses.
• Defense industry corporate sponsorship.
